Although based in the UK, his career has taken him to the US and Sweden, where he held senior finance positions in a FTSE-30 company, shaping financial strategy and providing leadership across complex, multinational business units.
An early pioneer of Extended Planning & Analysis (xP&A), Paul implemented advanced cloud-based planning solutions more than a decade ago and has since focused on leveraging AI and machine learning to enhance decision-making, forecasting, and strategic insight.
His exposure to data science and analytics was further strengthened during his time at Dataiku, where he developed capabilities to address complex, high-impact business challenges.
Before joining SAP, Paul held senior strategy and consulting roles at Anaplan and Workday, designing solutions that translate financial and operational ambitions into measurable outcomes, helping organisations accelerate performance and achieve sustainable results.
Today, as Director of Extended Planning & Analysis (xP&A) at SAP, he helps organisations not only improve efficiency but also reimagine planning as a driver of growth, resilience, and long-term value creation.
