Currently, I am the Senior Director of Enterprise IT Business Information Risk Management at Merck, where I lead security initiatives for our SAP S/4 system and AWS cloud. My experience includes leading the global SAP implementation process, standardizing practices, and ensuring compliance with regulations. One of my significant accomplishments was co-leading the response to a major cybersecurity breach in 2017, which strengthened our overall defenses. Before joining Merck, I spent a decade at KPMG as a Director in Audit & Risk Advisory Services, focusing on global audits for compliance with US GAAP, SOX, and IFRS. I possess expertise in SAP systems, security, and risk management, and hold several industry certifications, including CISA, CRISC, CISM, and AWS Certified Security Specialty. I am also a Chartered Accountant of India and a Certified Public Accountant.
