In this 90-minute hands-on lab, attendees will work through guided exercises to design and assess a technical architecture that supports performance, agility, extensibility, and ongoing innovation in SAP S/4HANA. The session focuses on how architecture, integration, user experience, and custom code decisions impact system performance, scalability, and flexibility in a cloud operating model, helping teams identify constraints, expose tradeoffs, and define what must be addressed to move forward.

Attendees will:

• Map current architecture to surface system dependencies, data flows, and migration constraints
• Identify custom code risks and determine what must be redesigned, externalized, or retired
• Define clean core boundaries across SAP S/4HANA and SAP BTP to enable extensibility and upgrades
• Pinpoint drivers of system sizing, performance, and cost across data and processing patterns
• Evaluate how SAP Fiori and access architecture impact security, performance, and user experience
• Prioritize architecture decisions and readiness gaps to move forward with confidence
